About the Autonomous Learner Model (ALM)

June 22 – June 27, 2010

This conference is designed for educators who seek a broad view of gifted education. Emphasis is on the major dimensions of the Autonomous Learner Model. You may attend as many as 15 sessions (from an offering of 52 different titles), as well as two dynamic keynotes. Additionally, the relaxed and informal environment provides for interaction with presenters and conference participants. We welcome educators, family, friends and children.

The ALM is designed to specifically meet the diversified cognitive, emotional and social needs of high ability students. Today the ALM is recognized as one of the most influential and effective models for facilitating ALL students in becoming 21st Century Learners.

Located just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, the Estes Park Center/YMCA of the Rockies is a modern, full-service conference center and family resort.
